Barcelona can ensure they progress to the Champions League quarter finals as group winners on Wednesday evening when they welcome Rosengard to Camp Nou.

Barca’s safe passage to the knockout stages was assured with their 6-2 victory over Benfica last time out, and they currently sit level on points with Bayern Munich at the Group D summit. The Catalan giants’ superior head-to-head record means they will top the group ahead of Bayern with a win over Rosengard.

Rosengard are just playing for pride, sitting rock bottom of the group and currently without a point during their group stage campaign.

When is kick off? Wednesday 21 December, 20:00 (GMT)
Where is the match being played? Camp Nou
TV channel/live stream? DAZN UEFA Women’s Champions League YouTube

Barcelona continue to be without long term absentees Alexia Putellas, Cata Coll and Jana Fernandez, who are all sidelined with ACL injuries. Caroline Graham Hansen also remains out for La Blaugrana.

Despite suffering a surprise loss to Bayern Munich a fortnight ago, Barcelona are still in prime position to top their Champions League group – and they will be expected to do so with relative ease against Rosengard.

The Swedish champions have not been complete pushovers in the competition, leading Bayern Munich at half time before slipping to a 2-1 loss, and only losing narrowly away to Benfica. However, they were beaten 4-1 during their last meeting with Barca, and it should be another straightforward one for the Spanish champions on Wednesday.

Prediction: Barcelona 4-0 Rosengard
