European sides Lyon and Sporting CP have spoken to Brighton about the availability of full back Tariq Lamptey, 90min understands.
The Seagulls are flying in sixth in the Premier League but Lamptey has not been a regular feature in their starting XI.
The Ghana international – who played in two games at the World Cup – has started just once in the league this season, making 15 appearances from the bench with Pascal Gross, Joel Veltman and Solly March often playing on the right for Roberto De Zerbi.
Brighton want to keep Lamptey but the defender himself is keen to assess his options in search of more regular game time. Lyon and Sporting have contacted Brighton with both sides set to lose their starting full backs this month.

Malo Gusto is expected to leave Lyon for Chelsea, with the 19-year-old agreeing the terms on his move to Stamford Bridge. Lyon were hoping to keep him for another six months but the Blues are increasingly confident the deal will be completed.
Sporting are braced for the exit of wing back Pedro Porro to Tottenham, meaning there could be a slot on the right for Lamptey to fill at Estadio Jose Alvalade.
Lamptey has made 65 league appearances for Brighton, though his availability was hampered by a hamstring injury in the 2020/21 season.
