Cristiano Ronaldo’s son has re-signed for Real Madrid’s youth ranks after following his father out of Manchester United.

Ronaldo Sr mutually terminated his contract at Old Trafford last month following his explosive interview with Piers Morgan.

And while the Portugal forward remains without a new club, his son has completed a return to Los Blancos.

La Razon report that Ronaldo Jr has rejoined Real Madrid’s youth teams having first played for them during his father’s spell in the Spanish capital. In his last spell at Valdebebas, he is said to have scored over 50 goals in 20 games across several age groups.

He followed Ronaldo Sr to Juventus and later to United, before now coming full circle and rejoining Real Madrid’s setup.

Following Portugal’s World Cup elimination at the hands of Morocco, Ronaldo Sr was granted access to Real Madrid’s training ground in order to maintain his fitness levels, though there is no current sign that the Spanish champions are considering offering him a contract.

The only contract currently on the table comes from Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr, who are still waiting to find out whether the 37-year-old will take up their eye-watering offer.
