Enzo Fernandez has urged disgruntled Chelsea fans to get behind head coach Graham Potter amid their horrendous form.
The Blues are on a miserable run of one win in ten games, falling to tenth in the Premier League standings, being dumped out of the FA Cup and facing Champions League elimination at the last 16 stage.
Potter, who replaced fan favourite Thomas Tuchel back in September, revealed on Friday that he and his family have received death threats due to Chelsea’s disappointing season so far.
In an interview with the Daily Telegraph, Fernandez called on supporters to get behind Potter and the players.
“Trust the players, trust the backroom staff, trust the manager,” he said via a translator. “Never forget that we are representing you, that we are trying to win games, starting on Sunday. Then we can start to turn things around.
“I would encourage the fans to be patient. We have got a lot of new faces here and it is a restructuring of the club and the playing staff. Trust us.”
In an exclusive interview with 90min, Joe Cole talks to Scott Saunders & Harry Symeou regarding all things Chelsea. They talk about Graham Potter’s future, Mason Mount, the Blues’ transfer policy and more.

Chelsea travel to Spurs on Sunday looking to maintain their 100% Premier League record at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
It’s also a fairly happy hunting ground for Potter, who was on the end of two narrow 2-1 losses before deservedly beating Tottenham 1-0 last season while at Brighton.
