Inter host Juventus for the second leg of their Coppa Italia semi-final on Wednesday with the two sides tied on aggregate after a 1-1 draw in the reverse fixture at the Allianz Stadium.

It was a first leg that saw late drama, with both sides struggling to create chances until Juan Cuadrado scored in the 83rd minute to give Juve the lead.

A handball from Gleison Bremer in stoppage time however led to substitute Romelu Lukaku converting from the spot to level things up.

The drama continued after the full-time whistle, with Cuadrado and Inter captain Samir Handanovic also received red cards during the argument that broke out between the players from both teams.

With the high-tensions in the first-leg, the return fixture is sure to be an enthralling tie too.

Lukaku will be available for the match against Juventus after his suspension was lifted following an executive pardon by FIGC President Gabriele Gravina. The Belgian striker put in a good display against Empoli in the team’s 3-0 win, scoring two and assisting a third for the Nerazzurri.

Despite his good form, Simone Inzaghi may save Lukaku as a super sub, and opt to start Edin Dzeko instead.

(3-5-2): Onana; Darmian, Acerbi, Bastoni; Dumfries, Barella, Mkhitaryan, Brozovic, Dimarco; Dzeko, Martinez.

Juventus team news

Both Moise Kean and Kaio Jorge remain out with their respective injuries.

(4-4-1-1): Szczesny; Danilo, Gatti, Sandro; Cuadrado, Fagioli, Locatelli, Rabiot, Kostic; Milik, Vlahovic.

After the events of the first leg, one can expect a highly competitive match, with both teams putting it all on the line to make the Coppa Italia final.

Juventus have had a big boost as of late, after their -15 point deduction was reversed, putting them back into a Champions League spot. They are currently third in the table with 59 points.

Inter are sixth with 54 points, and it is looking increasingly likely that the side won’t finish in the top four this season. As they’re inconsistent season in the league continues, they managed to scrape by in the Champions League against Benfica, and they have looked stronger this season in front of their own fans.

Prediction: Inter 1-0 Juventus
