Nemanja Vidic has admitted he has been impressed by the job Erik ten Hag is doing at Manchester United.
Ten Hag was hired by the Red Devils in time for the 2022/23 season after a disastrous campaign last time out.
A broken United recorded their lowest points total in the Premier League era last season, with the Dutchman brought in from Ajax to fix several alarming issues on and off the pitch.
His reign began terribly with humiliating losses to Brighton and Brentford, but he has since steadied the ship and United now look likely to finish in the top four at their current trajectory.
Speaking to The Times, United legend Vidic revealed his admiration of the work Ten Hag has done so far this season.

“I like the coach now,” Vidic said. “He gives stability. He understood there’s going to be ups and downs and whether he loses or wins he is stable, which gives everyone confidence.
“What he did with this group of players is they finally play as a team which I have to say for long time I didn’t have that feeling. But now with this coach I feel they understand that a centre back is not just the only one defending. It’s the whole team defending. The same going forward.
“I’m positive with what he brings to the club. We’re on the right path but still a long way to go.”
