Well, where do we even start with gameweek 29?
The Premier League saw some major moves this weekend, with two managers losing their jobs as results at the top, bottom and middle of the table all took their toll. If that’s not enough for you, there was also a worldie or two scored along the way.
Here’s a look at the best strikes from gameweek 29.

Daniel Podence has always been one of those players capable of the spectacular, and he made the rare dip into his locker at the weekend to level things up for Wolves against Nottingham Forest.
With fast footwork to cut inside and leave his defender for dead, Podence buried a ferocious strike which left Keylor Navas with no chance.

Look, this isn’t Ebere Eze’s goal. We know it’s an own goal from Daniel Iversen, but you can’t ruin that satisfying crossbar thwack.
A devilish free-kick from the Crystal Palace man that deserved the goal it ended up creating.
Every single angle? We’ve got it covered.

Is that Dennis Bergkamp?
That sort of cut-throat goalscoring has been absent from Palace for what feels like years now, but Jean-Philippe Mateta had fans purring with this one.
Enjoy EVERY angle of another wonderful @Kaoru_Mitoma goal! ๐ฟ๐บ pic.twitter.com/qICsShRhlv

Another week, another ยฃ10m added to Kaoru Mitoma’s price tag.
Brighton’s 3-3 draw with Brentford offered some of the best entertainment of the weekend and Mitoma’s delightful lob was the standout moment.

โ AFC Bournemouth ๐ (@afcbournemouth) April 2, 2023
Speaking of standout moments, how about this from Bournemouth’s Marcus Tavernier?
An absolutely ludicrous strike from range, which was later followed up by perhaps the worst goal you’ve ever seen to seal all three points for the Cherries.

A great header from Granit Xhaka, but this one is all about the ball from Martin Odegaard.
Arsenal’s title charge keeps on going.
The sweetest strike. ๐ฌ @JMcGinn7 pic.twitter.com/jGz7gX8rNY
โ Aston Villa (@AVFCOfficial) April 3, 2023
Graham Potter’s parting words at Chelsea: “If you look at the xG of the goal, it’s not that big a chance.”
It may not have been, but John McGinn certainly made the most of it with this perfectly placed strike from range to seal a win for Aston Villa.
Michael Vincent Keane. ๐คฏ pic.twitter.com/lFvyqUTHzu
โ Everton (@Everton) April 3, 2023
A busy outing for Michael Keane, who conceded a penalty, nearly had his ankle broken and then scored an absolute screamer in the last minute of Everton’s 1-1 draw with Tottenham.
It doesn’t get better than that.
