Atlanta United and United States defender Miles Robinson was arrested on Saturday night, according to reports and records. According to Cobb County Sherriff’s Office records, the 25-year-old was charged with misdemeanor theft by taking, with the arrest taking place at 825 Battery Avenue in Atlanta just before 11pm. Robinson was released after posting a $150 bond on Sunday afternoon. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution (AJC) report that Robinson took a shot of liquor from a waitress at PBR Atlanta but declined to pay for it. Lee Mason has not been named as a video assistant referee for any of this weekend’s Premier League fixtures after he controversially disallowed a Newcastle United goal against Crystal Palace on Saturday. Tyrick Mitchell scored a second-half own goal, but referee Michael Salisbury was recommended to review the incident by Mason, who believed that Joe Willock fouled goalkeeper Vicente Guaita. While Salisbury overturned the decision and gave a free-kick to Palace, further replays suggested that Mitchell shoved Willock into Guaita, and therefore the goal should have stood.
