Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has admitted that his club, like every other club, is keen to sign England youngster Jude Bellingham.

The 19-year-old has hit the headlines for his stunning performances at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar this winter, becoming one of the Three Lions’ key men.

As expected, his form has prompted many clubs to sit up and take notice, and 90min understands that Real Madrid, Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Juventus are keen – though the latter may find their interest hampered by alleged financial irregularities and the resignation of their entire board.

Dortmund remain confident that they can keep Bellingham for at least another season, but another interested party, PSG, may have something to say about that if Al-Khelaifi’s latest comments to Sky Sports are anything to go by.

“England are lucky to have him to be honest with you,” the PSG president said. “He’s one of the best players in the tournament. First World Cup and he’s calm and relaxed, it’s amazing.

“That’s what everyone wants, I’m not going to hide it, but I respect his club. If we want to talk to him, we will talk to the club first.”

As well as impressing at international level Bellingham has been in brilliant form for Dortmund too. He has scored nine goals in 22 games so far during the 2021/22 campaign, including four in five in the Champions League.
