Manchester United’s quest for a second piece of silverware this season continues with a quarter-final matchup against Sevilla in the UEFA Europa League.

The first leg takes place at Old Trafford on Thursday night with the Red Devils looking to win this competition for the second time in their history.

Erik ten Hag has some injury headaches to contend with ahead of the game, with main man Marcus Rashford likely to miss the home leg at least.

Here’s how United could set out on Thursday.

GK: David De Gea – Still isn’t too highly rated in his home country, but could help win over watching Spaniards with a top display in this tie.

RB: Diogo Dalot – Despite a strong first half to the season, the Portugal international has been pushed for his starting spot by Aaron Wan-Bissaka in recent months and needs to up his game again.

CB: Raphael Varane – Rested for Saturday’s win against Everton so should be fresh enough to replace captain Harry Maguire.

CB: Lisandro Martinez – The World Cup winner will have the possibility of facing several of his countrymen on Thursday, with Argentina internationals Gonzalo Montiel, Marcos Acuna, Lucas Ocampos and Erik Lamela all in line to feature.

LB: Tyrell Malacia – Luke Shaw is not expected to return from injury for a couple more weeks, giving summer signing Malacia ample time to stake a claim for the left-back spot in the long-term.

CM: Casemiro – His Premier League suspension is at last over, though did feature in both legs of United’s last 16 triumph against Sevilla’s rivals Real B*tis.

CM: Scott McTominay – The returning Christian Eriksen will be itching to start but McTominay is in the form of his life.

RM: Antony – Enjoyed one of his best games in a United shirt at the weekend and will be looking to carry that confidence into a matchup with either Acuna or United loanee and Brazil teammate Alex Telles.

AM: Bruno Fernandes – Excelled in a deeper role at the weekend, but with Rashford out, United need Fernandes to start higher up the pitch.

LM: Jadon Sancho – At last enjoying an extended run in the side, grabbing an assist against Everton.

CF: Anthony Martial – Vying for his first start since January after returning from injury. Scored just one goal in 12 games on loan at Sevilla last season.
