A place in the Continental Cup final is up for grabs on Thursday evening as West Ham welcome Chelsea to the Chigwell Construction Stadium.

The Blues are aiming to wrestle back the title they won in 2020 and 2021, having been beaten in last season’s final by Manchester City.

Fresh from taking points off Arsenal for the first time in their last outing, the Hammers are vying to reach their maiden Continental Cup final.

When is kick off? Thursday 9 February, 19:15 (GMT)
Where is the match being played? Chigwell Construction Stadium
TV channel/live stream? BBC Sport Website/BBC iPlayer/BBC Red Button (UK), FA Player (International)
Referee? Richie Watkins

Jess Ziu remains a long-term absentee for West Ham as she continues her comeback from an ACL injury suffered in October.

Pernille Harder continues to miss out for Chelsea, having sustained a hamstring injury while on international duty in November.

West Ham turned in a mammoth defensive performance to hold Arsenal to a 0-0 draw last time out, with Grace Fisk and Hawa Cissoko immense in the heart of the defence. However, they did spend much of the second 45 camped in their own half, and Arsenal were guilty of missing a number of big chances – Chelsea will surely not be as wasteful.

Although the Blues have not been at their imperious best this season, they are the masters of simply getting the job done, and they will be expected to book their place in the Continental Cup final.

Prediction: West Ham 0-2 Chelsea
